Isn’t it just too weird/convenient that the first guys ability was literally the same as that button?
Couldn’t specialist families just give their kids training then send them to that realm for 1, 5, 10, 100 etc years to refine it?

Kinda stupid that some rando throwaway character had that ability.

@Palk94
i know that, but then his time when in academy is wasted...
since he should spar with everyone or he does spar but he also need a million year to actually master it, again..

sigh, so instead of the button having been a one-time gimmick, it's now a full fledged skill anyone could have? the hundred millions were already a huge plot hole for me, but this just makes it even more ridiculous. a shame, since i do kinda like the art and humour, but guess i'll drop this one for the time being.

@Lati0s yeah, I pretty much explained that on chapter 1's comment section. From the moments he spent millions of years training Talent is no longer a factor. It doesn't matter how talented you are you don't beat somone with millions of years of experience. That's literally the only way for someone with no talent to be the strongest ever. THe only reason why people without talent can't beat talent irl is because everyone lives for the same amount of time. At the end of the day talent is only a time saving factor, not a magical trait that enables or disables people to execute a certain activity whether you have it or not. Talented people can master a skill in a couple of years, where an "untalented" one would take a decade or two. Which by that time would make them lose physical disposition making it a waste to spend your efforts in this. But if you're immortal or have a place where "time does not move", to train. then yes you can become an undisputed god at a certain skill.

I think the author don't know what he's doing. The MC got hit by a mere 10 years training guy easily is very nonesense. Also in previous chapter, he got intermediate by a boy with killing intense easily. If you going to make MC like this you shouldn't make him trained for million years, it should be around 30-50 years from his current ability and mind. I guess there'll be a genius tough opponent 18 years old next time as well.

So the hundred million years wasn't enough to beat a teenager, but an extra 100 years is?

Yeah. This shit is completely arbitrary. Power levels mean nothing. The button means nothing. And most importantly, numbers and the amount of time spent doing anything means nothing. The guy who has trained in the sword for longer than complex life has existed lost a draw against a teenager when he was throwing out draws that the examiner couldn't even tell were thrown earlier. See you guys later, I'll check in on this again when I'm bored in six months.

He should have pushed some red button to spend a couple hundred more years inside.
