@Guionazzo To be perfectly fair to him, the dramatic irony of the situation is what makes us face palm at his lack of realization. We’ve had 60 chapters to see her scheme, but he’s only been seeing the portions she wants him to see. Not only that, he really wants to trust in someone he idolizes. He’s certainly not Einstein, don’t get me wrong, but he’s not necessarily dumb as a stump either.

@Rice I agree with your point, but honestly what little he's seen should have set off some flags. I would never trust anyone who accused me of stalking more than once, because even if they weren't a malicious person, the misunderstanding alone is dangerous enough to avoid that person altogether. He's seen a bunch of fishy things that should at least make him weary of her, the fact that he seems to trust her 100% whenever she makes puppy dog eyes at him shows he's pretty bad at recognizing trouble.
