I have asked this question one, now I’m gonna ask again. The readers seem to dumb a lot of shit on this series and yet, they are still here and have read through 76 chapters. I mean, come on man, if you hate it that much, why are you continuing it?
@Dradetias I don't hate the series. I hate the girl as I would a person in real life who gaslights and emotionally abuses another. The story it's self is actually really interesting. I'm intrigued to find out whether she'll become a better person and live happily in the end or the guy will wise up to her shit and cut her off.
Just get your bag, thank the guy for even bothering, and just leave. It’s not that hard, why is it framed like someone is about to die, unless...
The cafe guy says some rude shit and then Mika goes ape shit on his ass. 10/10 ending. She ends up in jail and the mc is traumatized.
@Dradetias I can only speak from my own experience but, as someone who has read Fairy Tail and absolutely hates that series, I believe it's due to them thinking something will change their opinion along the line. Be it a plot point, an ending, a character moment etc.
Or this is one of their guilty pleasures. They like reading it, they hate it all the same.
@Dradetias It's a brilliantly written horror story, like a tragic car crash or a serial murderer's POV of their crimes. I can't look away from the crash, even though I know the participants will never get what they deserve, as this story is a 'romance' for people who want to get stabbed in the night.
@Dradetias that's actually puzzled me for quite a while now, too. They shit on the manga, yet they continue to stick. I'd guess they still have hope in it ending in a "good" way, whatever "good" is. I personally like this manga tho. If it ends with NTR as some fear, then it just confirmed the drama theme which is alright. If it ends nicely with MC mustering the balls to confess then it's extra good. If it ends with status quo then that's also okay since shitty isekai harems are my guilty pleasure 😂
