I'm not saying it's super stable, but there's definitely an internal logic. Also, there's something to be said for people who were bullied wanting to be in control of their circumstances. in fact, there's a lot to be said about it

considering we've seen literally no evidence of that, and that teenage girls can be absolutely savage, that's not terribly likely
