Yeah, maybe it’s just cause I’m a dude but I feel infinitely more comfortable reading this than rather nana to Kaoru tho I have seen women gush about that series kinda like how redo of healer is ver popular among women, so… there might be a chance while this could possibly become a hit, I don’t think it reach the same reverence as those two…

"Masochist" is an English word and "sub" doesn't convey the nuance of being excited by loss of control and pain.

Sub is the counterpart to Dom. While Dom is a shortening of Dominant or Dominator while Sub is a shortening of Subservient. It's the same role and they do carry the same connotation to english speakers.
