Seriously I’m surprised no one in the chapter was shocked over that. With how much time he spends either by himself or hanging out with the girls, I was sure he was a loner. I’d love more on his friends (or to have met them earlier), they seem like great guys. Plus they’re earnestly encouraging him instead of the usual “go fucking kill yourself” routine the MC gets when suddenly a girl is interested in him (which is just a bonus). I really want more on their characters and personalities.

senpai's friends is the 2ch crowd, makes sense that 4ch terminology would be used since it's terminology is closest to 2ch terminology.
the only people who call it dated are people who are out of touch with chan culture. it's used actively even now. if you're offended or looking into it as some world class oppression scheme then it's especially for you- chan culture is meant to be repulsive. and the people who translated it are /a/nonymous... a *ch group translating 2ch lingo into the closest thing uses existing *ch lingo which culturally mean the same thing... wow surprise.

I didn't like how Senpai suddenly has two friends now. I mean it just came out of nowhere considering how much of a loner he seemed to be. I saw some speculate how maybe his friends are in different classes and didn't go to the cultural festival. Well I don't hate his friends, but it just felt so abrupt.

I wonder if Senpai will continue to keep wearing contacts, he still does his nervous tick throughout the chapter, a nice touch. Personally, I liked him with glasses, haha.
