MC seems extremely retarded... selling his items for nothing... especially the dispell. I don't find it funny. :x hopefully it gets better.
Well he had to get the merchant to help in properly displaying his stuff. It would have been better to browse the marketplace and get a sense of the cost of items. But MC didn’t do that. So overall MC has no business sense. Hence why gear is so cheap

Tbf he just started selling, before he was a literal adventurer. So it's no surprise he has no clue what he's doing. He'll learn as he goes

The mistakes he is making are actually the same mistakes that new merchants do that led them to bankruptcy. Mainly saying that something was free because you got it yourself. Your time and effort at getting those materials have a cost too. The materials also have their own price. The final product also have it's own evaluation based on the market demand.

what does being cursed mean
Little late on this but generally it's a powerful item that has a lot of positives but also a really negative effect. Like in RPGs there are cursed items that give you huge stat boosts but also inflict your character with an incurable poison status effect until you take it off.
Usually cursed items are "clingy" so when you equip one, you cannot unequip it without dispelling the curse on yourself first.

absolutely. Nothing is free and those "freebies" are literally paid in marketing and exposure. Which is the main thing the market was demanding.

it's not that, he's just so skilled compared to others that it's cheap for him to make shit. Dispel talismans are as easy as drawing on paper for him

If only he explained his curse to his party like he did to the customers. Though if he did do that, then the blame was on his party.

I thought it would've been better to just sell the dispel talismans but then they brought up the church...

But they'll probably come after him anyway now lol

He probably already tell them very earlier on their adventure days and then after a while, the team getting strong and they just keep shush him away while forgetting that side effect of the curse.
He might feel the pressure of letting the team down after stuck on leveling up and just keep it by himself

I never realized this, but the merchant was a real bro. Gave him a stall, helped arrange his wares, really nice dude. Was expecting him to overcharge or something, but nope
