If they didn't do it they should have said so when they had the chance to give their side. Instead they gave some ambiguous response that left us all confused.

Now all they can do is appeal the ban through the site contact thingie. But honestly having 3 alt accounts is kinda sus...lol.

Having a burner account with the same name seems kinda pointless. It would be like robbing a bank, getting in the get away car, escaping in a high speed chase, losing the cops, driving out to a pre-arranged transfer spot, abandoning the get away car, and jumping into another car....that is absolutely identical to the previous get away car. 🤣

The cops then see you drive by in an identical car acting all nonchalant...and they think "wait, that car looks familiar..."

So, moral from this kind of events is, don't act impulsive, just like PapaPanda ever said (or Banana who said that, I forgor), try to step back a little when things getting heated. Also, if we thinks we could do something to others, we must be aware that perhaps others could do the same to us, in this case, act impulsive.

Jecro impulsively acted by sending all that messages to ghost writer when he was still furious about his scanlation got removed (and maybe because he read some people mocked the translation in its comment section, also to make things worsen, maybe because ghost writer pulled up a joke about Jecro face (not everyone like that kinda joke tbf)).

Then ghost writer impulsively made this thread about Jecro (maybe Jecro didn't say a thing to ghost writer for a while just to calm down, some people actually use a silent treatment as a punishment but some just remain silent to calm themselves down).

Oh, and I think I should make this clear, I'm the one who informed Robert about the thread, by informed him I meant, to discuss about this kind of thing, like is this really possible to happen, and how to prevent something like this to happen and else, I actually discussed with Robert about some techs & AI thingy from time to time (I admire his wide perspectives in modern technology).

So when Robert saw this thread, he probably try to discuss this to staffs also, that's why we all could see some staffs came down here partying with us too.

Oh 1 more thing, I think Jecro ever spit out the reason he made an alt account, it's to confused anyone who wants to mention his main. Also, for boosting his main account reaction scores and some other members too, he ever offered me a boosting but I refused. I think some people get the same offer from him too.
So I assumed, all of his alt accounts were just part of his little shenanigans, tbf, if he made all of his alts with a very different name and actually pulled up a different personality in each, now THAT is the right time for us to feel suspicious about his alts thingy.

There are some things you dont joke about. If jecro really wrote those things to ghost, then ghost was right to do so.

I think Jecro didn't joke about that, he act impulsive, bcs of his anger. You know the rules, right? when someone were actually furious, don't joke about anything to them or related to them. I thought we all mature enough to be more understanding about people who got involved with us, in this case, ghost writer is part of Jecro scanlation group. Don't we think we must try to understand people we're working together with? And please pay attention to every words ghost writer said in the first post. They joke about him and things got escalated since then.

So I dont dislike Jecro or anything... (or at least I didn't prior to this)

But this definitely isnt something you do impulsively. He had their IP address, social security number and physical address. Those arent things you just find quickly in an impulsive moment of anger. Thats something that requires planning and who knows what kind of searching or illegal activities to obtain.

So...thats why this is such a big deal. Thats why he got insta-banned. And its not a "oh he got angry" type of thing at all...

Im not trying to put you on the spot or anything, but we need to be realistic about this kind of stuff because a LOT of Americans are being targetted by criminals these days for fraud and identity theft. Often times by foreign actors outside of the U.S...

Its a very scary thing.
