You do realize multiple children have been victimized in this series already, right? Frankly at this point I'm thinking the author is an utter creep with how often it's insinuated or actively appears within the series.

Its the same reason you have villains kick dogs. It's not because the author hates dogs, it's because it makes the villain more hateable. In this case, it also helps that the irl analogue, the catholic church, has a...history with children, lets say. Regardless, it's not supposed to be a good thing.

It's how they choose to draw the characters which are children. Something which I EXPRESSELY mentioned in the post you chose to paraphrase and reply to. I didn't say it was a 'good thing' nor did I view it as a positive. I made a justified comment based on the artist/authors manner of illustrating certain characters.

I'm pretty sure I specified in the orignal post my issue wasn't in how the siblings were drawn. The dark-elf/dwarf, the kid in the church whose an 'apostle', yada yada.
