No, you can't be in love with someone, while being physically involved with someone else.. that's literally the definition of cheating, unless you're polygamous, or in an open relationship, but you can't tell me his feelings run all that deep, if he rather sleep with some complete stranger he met a couple days ago, instead of actually TRYING to talk with her, or even attempting for it to work..

Also, between the flashback and the present not much time passed, if we look at his uniform, so it's possible that she also already had feelings for him at this point, but he literally was acting like he didn't care if we look at chapter 1, so i really hope they won't end up together.

He makes himself look so miserable and throws a pity party for himself, but he never really sought a conversation, or even tried to convey anything, instead he went and looked elsewhere, because it was easier.

Oh wow he actually went with her to a hotel but couldn't "perform" due to seeing that her heart wasn't committed to it. Now I'm not going to say he shouldn't have gone to sleep with her but if you were a teenager & an attractive girl wanted to sleep with you, most guys would do it albeit some will be reluctant about it

If you are going to go for the twist don't give yourself an off-ramp two chapters later. This is just poor writing. I was all for the twist but to then say, wait, he was really in love with Hikari via off-screen discussion was just bad. Show don't tell and all. And if he was in love with Hikari, and too pure to have sex with a woman he barely knew, why was he agreeing to go to the love hotel in the first place? I'm fine with flawed characters - in fact I love them - but there has to be a reasonable in-world justification for the behavior and Ta-kun's doesn't make sense given what we know about him so far. He doesn't strike me as a Paul Greyrat. They developed no rapport to justify the kiss in chapter 21. They needed to at least develop the relationship to the point where sex was a reasonable outcome.

I just wanna say out of everything, this is what bothered me the most. So he did actually like Hikari all his life, but I guess he fell out of love almost immediately for a girl he just met? Now that his former crush actually likes him, instead he kinda takes advantage of the situation and goes for Ayami instead?

This changes so much of the context of the story and is maybe the most important line, and they just kinda slap it on a single panel. I actually don't really care what happened to Ayami cuz it kinda comes out of nowhere. I didn't even know she was supposed to be an important character
