Thanks for the chapter! Yami's rendition of a wholesome date is sure something.
This was Maruto's comment for the chapter:

And there's one more "26.5" already.

@story645, does this wrap up our old discussion on whether Yami was actually unhappy that Yuu didn’t invite her on dates?

Not really given, that it was her idea and other translations make it sound more like she paid for the date. So to me it reads like a redux of the manga cafe date or the beach cafe. ETA: especially since it's kinda private and she instantly falls back on physical intimacy rather than just spending time w/ him enjoying a thing she said she wanted to enjoy.

Eta2: also cause Yuu's response to her here is a "no, wasted money" rather than a "no, I want to spend time w/ you enjoying your company in a non-sexual way"

Eta3: also, if we're gonna argue about realism, Aya's hypersexuality is completely unrealistic unless she's compensating for something (which is what I think she's doing). "Normal" teenage girls don't act that way unless they're in a male fantasy.

But that's the idea. As demonstrated in this chapter, she doesn't really need any entertainment like movies, aquariums, amusement parks etc., because just being together with him is what she enjoys the most.
Honestly I don't know what could convince you otherwise.

I always thought the idea of the date is to enjoy each other's company, the way you do it doesn't matter. If you need some entertainment for it, sure, if you don't - that works too. And the manga cafe is absolutely the same as movie theater in that regard, with the only actual difference being having to look at the screen non-stop in the latter.

In an alternate universe, Hikari would've been playing cupid and trying to get both Yami and Yuu together. And this would've been the culminative result of her effort. Any drama and issue would've been strictly between Yuu and Yami, and they would've worked past those issues to get to this point.

See x.5 (extra) chapter;
Heck yeah maybe we can get new hot character or some backstory for the extras like someone in Hikari friend group

Read it and noticed it was a baggage girl chapter;
Nnnnnooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

the way you do it doesn't matter.

Outside of like (really bad) hentai, girls typically want reassurance that a guy is w/ them for more than sex, hell even smut geared at women will make sure to have a few explicit "guy showing he cares about her as a person" events after they've started hooking up.

The reason I think Yuu didn't get that across to Aya is b/c I don't think 41 falls out the way it did if Aya is totally secure in Yuu's feelings for her. In particular
Aya's parting shot of "bind him w/ your body" - Its clearly not actually advice for Hikari given Aya thinks Hikari already has Yuu, per Aya's "what not dating her yet?" conversation with Yuu a few hours earlier, which means it's how Aya genuinely thinks Aya got Yuu away from Hikari.

ETA: and the reason I in particular think Aya is being written this way is that Maruto gave her the characterization and backstory where her hypersexuality being dysfunctional makes sense & the characterization of the other girls has also made sense. There's no reason to have the short chapter with her middle school friend picking up the red flags or Haru pointing out that they'd never be friends with Aya if Maruto intended Aya to come across as well adjusted.
