As opposed to Aya's constant masking?I actually meant the scene where she got mad at him for saying that he didn't want to go the school festival. In that scene, she's shown that she's capable of bursts of emotions that she can't control. That's what I meant by irrational.
Yeah this. Like if Maruto is sticking to the symbolism than probably the way to make Hikari dark would be to go full inversion and make Aya light. And like the climax was Aya actively choosing selfish so really doesn't seem to be going there.Of course, this does go against the whole Light/Dark symbology he's built for Hikari and Yami, and how Yuu(Dusk) is a transition between the 2.
I wasn't comparing Hikari to Yami there. They're both irrational. I'm also not saying that they're irrational because they express negative emotions. They're irrational because they have no control over how they express that emotion. Hikari says it herself in the scene that I referenced, that she "can't help it".Like you're saying she's irrational for honestly expressing her disappointment by pouting and looking away rather than what? plastering on a fake smile?. She doesn't cry or scream or shout or demand he comes or accuse him of betraying her (which would be bonkers) - just pouts. It's probably not your intent but "a girl is irrational b/c she expresses negative emotions" is kinda sexist nonsense.
In fairness, Hikari was irrational like once, Yami is almost always irrationalI wasn't comparing Hikari to Yami there. They're both irrational. I'm also not saying that they're irrational because they express negative emotions. They're irrational because they have no control over how they express that emotion. Hikari says it herself in the scene that I referenced, that she "can't help it".
Same here, because going from the tone of the scene, it seems like they're treating it as a sort of jokeI really hope the author actually focuses on the SA here and not gloss it over. If they write Hikari forgiving Yami and moving on then Hikari is going to be the real one dimensional character
B/c she's a teenager who's worrying that showing negative emotions will turn him off. Hell, both Aya and Hikari tie themselves into knots over which emotions to show to Yuu.Hikari says it herself in the scene that I referenced, that she "can't help it".
Bruh it's unpaid overtime 😭😭Hikari simps processing all the apology forms from Yami simps this chapter.
