Nah, I am not that interested in supplementary materials which are not the work itself.
Even more dumber. The work itself is the Novel, the manga is precisely the supplementary material.
Anyone has the novel version? Apparently Yom once again omitted shit tone in the adaptation
Over all with Yuu himself. Again, I think Yom is the worst enemy of Yuu and Novel Yuu is definitely much better than Manga Yuu -even during Yami Arc- chapters.
Here a MTL fast translation of the novel chapter I made a few hours ago:

Chapter 46: Reunion through Shine Muscat

It was just an ordinary day. It was a weekday, an evening, and a calm time that made me feel a little lonely. Thrown into such a quiet moment, I now find myself standing in the middle of the road... or rather, at the edge, with a frown on my face.

The reason I'm quietly hesitating like that is... well, it's too much trouble to explain, so I'll just keep it short and say it's because I'm standing in front of the gate of this house and I've just rang the doorbell to Ta-kun.
When I came home from school today, the house was empty and dimly lit. Well, that in itself isn't unusual, as both my parents often work late into the night, but today was a little different. There was a basket of fruit placed contrivedly in the middle of the living room table, filled with a large amount of Shine Muscat grapes and a note from my mother that read, "To Hikari: Your uncle in Yamanashi sent this for us, so please share it with Takamura-san. I've told Takamura-san. Please make them to invite you to dinner too!"

Tell me how I felt when I saw this note... The answer is, "I've been tricked!"
Ah, I thought maybe they had made a secret deal with the lady over there. Lately, Ta-kun and I have been acting a little strange, so I'm sure our parents are being considerate and trying to leave us alone.
Because, I'm sure...
"H-Hikari?"
"...Sharing."
See, I knew it! It's Ta-kun who came out! I'm sure Aunt Takamura must have made up some excuse and gone out a while ago!
"Shine Muscat... my favorite".
"...I know".
And he probably isn't observing the two of them from the shadows somewhere... but she's probably in frequent contact with my mother and they're probably both nervous about it!

She knows that "delivering something to the neighbors" is an errand I absolutely want to avoid right now. But she also knows that I can't refuse my parents' request just because "it's just difficult for me to go." And she probably knows that Ta-kun can't play dumb just because "it might be me who's visiting"...

"Um, well... would you like some tea?"
"...No."
"I guess so, sorry."

So I made sure to fulfill my bare minimum obligations. But I absolutely refused to let my parents interfere! No matter how much he tried to stop me. No matter how much he tried to apologize. No matter how much he wouldn't look me in the eye.
"Well then..."
"I'll have a Coke"
"Huh...?"
"Right now... I'm not in the mood for tea! I feel like having juice and some sweets!"

That's right! I absolutely won't go along with what everyone else is planning! I'm not some naive kid who'll be lured in by tea!

"...You'll get fat"
"I usually eat with moderation!"
"Well, here you go"
"...What are you laughing at?"
"...Sorry"

But seeing my stubborn attitude, he shook his shoulders slightly and gave a wry smile! Ah, that... after doing that, he laughed! Seriously, I can't forgive that!

…………
…………
"...Haaaah~"

And then... it's been about a month since I've been to his room. Not much has changed in just a month, but after not seeing it for even a month, I start to feel a great sense of discomfort about being here, like I've become an outsider, and a sense of loneliness wells up inside me.

"Sorry to keep you waiting... but please sit down."
"Uh, yeah..."

As I was standing there alone in my room, lost in a daze, Ta-kun came from downstairs carrying a tray of juice, sweets, and Shine Muscat grapes, knocking on the door even though it was his own room, and came in. He put the tray on the table, then sat down at the back of the room and looked up at me, who was still standing.

"…………"
"…………"
However, he still couldn't look me in the eye as I was standing there, and his eyes wandered aimlessly around the room.
"By the way, the latest volume of the manga that Hikari always reads has come out."
"Right..."
"Would you like to read it?"
"Hmm, I'm not in the mood for it right now. "
"I see."
"......"
"......"

The words that came out of his mouth didn't get to the heart of the matter, and didn't get to the point of the matter. So in the end, the conversation didn't continue, and we both soon fell silent. And Ta-kun, in the end, seemed unable to bear the oppressive atmosphere, and just sat there, averting his eyes from me.
In the end, his body turns around so that all I can see is his broad back.
"Aren't you going to eat some sweets?"
Like that, he turned his back on me, and the words he spoke to me remained evasive.
"I'm just wondering whether to get sweets or Shine Muscat grapes!"

So I become more and more irritated, and my tone and words become more and more harsh.

"Why not just eat both?"
"Even if that's true! There's an order to it!"
"You'd have to start with Shine Muscat. If you eat the sweets first, the fruit will go sour."
"That's not necessarily the case, the sweetness of Shine Muscat is on a different level to other grapes!"

And yet... even after such a confrontational, abrasive exchange...

"Pfft..."
"See! You laughed again!"
"Sorry, but... thank you"
"You don't deserve to be thanked!"
We... somehow, we end up arguing with each other like we used to...

"Thank you... Even though I did such terrible things to you, you didn't give up. You must have been hurt, but you still kept the conversation going"
"Well, I guess that's how I am, no matter how evil the person I'm up against!"
"...I guess."

We get excited talking about silly things, as if "that incident" was a memory from long ago...

"That's why you, Hikari, are so amazing. You are strong. You are dependable."

He tries to wrap things up in a "nice" way, but that's not the solution I want. Leaving it all unresolved like this, acting like nothing happened and going back to being "just childhood friends" again, that shouldn't happen.

It may break. It may become nothing. But I still...

"It's okay, what..."

Thank you!

"Ouch!?"
"Ouch!"

Oh, I did it! In truth, I wanted to gently lean against his back, to press my back against his. I was trying to go back to that "ordinary day" we had together. And then, instead of hitting my back, I hit the back of my head.

"W-wait, Hikari..."
"Don't be scared! You were doing it without any fuss before!"
"..."

But we can't let go now. We're finally back in this position. It doesn't matter if it's forced or messy. We're back in a place where we can talk about the "truth" over each other's shoulders.

Hikari Shirasaka, 16 years old...
It's been a long time since I felt the warmth of his back.

Litreara was the one who always posted those

Might we run it through ChatGPT in a bit though
Ready.
I guess I had to take the responsibility seeing how Litreara is gone, even if I am still upset with her because her translations altered the original text to leave worse to Yuu (for e.g., in his PoV omake, Yuu calls "MY GIRLFRIEND" to Yami after their first time, and Litreara ommitted all that).
Anyway you can improve my MTL translation if you want it. And as I said, Yuu improves a lot in novelization in general. Yom seems have much more disdain for Ta-kun and securely there is a reason why he didn´t get a color image until Light Novel volume 1 releasing in August past year.
PS. Hikari for her side gets much more development in her novel chapters, but she is much worse as person there. In this chapter, for example, Novel Hikari is much more selfishly jerk than Manga Hikari, even if you are still able to realize Yom is working through a more "show-don´t-tell" style for the manga and you feel the tension between Hikari and Yuu, but know the exact words Hikari are thinking leaves her in a very worse position than if we never known what she was exactly thinking.
PS2. Also both manga and novel confirms Yuu is really aware from Hikari feelings, is just he didn´t want pressure her and even more when she was actively ghosting and avoiding him.
PS3. Also, Hikari already did her promise to going to Takamura House to Yuu´s mother in chapter 44, Yuu probably trusted on that promise. And yes, spoiler: Yuu always be the kind of passive and submissive boys who only will act if you doesn´t make to him any kind of promises or compromises, possibly this is the reason why Yami just ghosted him instead saying a more appropiated break-up message to him, knowing if she would take the second option, Yuu never never would look for her. Both Hikari and Yami were already aware from this. And yes, this is more selfish from her part -and also a proof she still loves Yuu and she still wants looked by him, to be fair-.

Thank you. That was exactly what i was looking for. And surprise surprise, %60 of the story is missing. Yom should just stop at this point because he obviously is not committed enough to adapt the story properly. He is just as butthurt about the direction as the slop addicts i guess. He would probably remove Yuu entirely as a character if he could.

I used to have fun with this in a "can't look away from a car crash" way, but the release schedule coupled with short chapters has pretty much killed that. And based from other forum comments here, apparently skipping over a lot from the original novel makes those issues more baffling to me. What is taking the artist longer to seemingly do less?

If this keeps up I might just stick to the novel going forward, but having the momentum killed like this may make me instead drop it altogether

First of all, I'm not a girl. Second, I didn't change anything to make Yuu look worse; I literally used what MTL gave me. MTL is flawed, and we all know that. So I would appreciate it if you don't accuse me of that again.

Unfortunately, the official manga sells far more copies than the novel. I didn’t actually do the math because I don’t really care anymore, but I did take a look. So yeah…

I skimmed through the MTL quickly but didn't notice anything significant skipped this time. 44 had loads of content cut, but this time I thought the manga was consistent with the novel.

To the surprise of absolutely nobody, people don't like reading.

Yes, as I said, this chapter in manga, as Yom always have done, chose for a "show-don´t-tell" style, but for moments bleaches too much the tension between Hikari and Yuu even if we, equal as Yuu himself, can still feel how Hikari is still very upset with Yuu -but both novel and manga leaves very clear this is just other Hikari foolish kids´s fight more, and Yuu was always right about Hikari doesn´t being really seriously damaged-.
But yes, Manga Hikari is still much more likable than Novel Hikari (even if see Manga Hikari still allows us understand better why Yuu, Yami, Yuki and even Haru has Hikari in so high steem).
To the surprise of absolutely nobody, people don't like reading.
Also, the light novel still has not come to the best part of the series (Yami-Yuu relationship arc) hehe. Light Novel selling numbers will be very interesting when Volume 2 will be released in March.

Of nothing. I´m agree with this, but IMO the only genuine interest from Yom on Yuu is about him being the submissive boyfriend of Yami who makes everything what she commands to him and reactions like a shy boy from H mangas, anytime she proposes to have sex with him. The only good Yuu panels in manga are under this femdom dynamic.
"Yami-senpai is the boyfriend on this relationship" and all that. I think Yami-Yuu relationship was part from the things who Yom considers as "slop", and even more seeing what it was Ganbare Douki-chan.
Overall seeing how much Yom loves draw Yami and depict her and her sexual desire for Yuu and how Yami sees Yuu as "mine". But yes, Yuu as an independent person taking decisions by yourself instead being just the sub of Yami who lets be pegged by her... yes, Yom is not very interested on that, and in Hikari-Yuu´s drama neither.
If finally we never get an appropiately Yuu´s PoV Arc (or if this arc ends relegated to just web novel/light novel), will be probably, at least in part, due to Yom´s responsability doesn´t wanting draw the story from Yuu´s eyes.

The manga is an adaptation. Adaptations are not supplementary material, they need to stand alone.
Yes, that is the point, Yom definitely failed a lot in this goal and how if you see his statements in X, you will see how he recognizes the manga is more a promotional material for make the people reads the novel than a material made by stand alone. Also, and again, Yom definitely dislikes Yuu much more than Maruto does.
You're conveniently forgetting that she BOLLOCKED Yuu for being oblivious to her feelings for the previous few months, when she'd been oblivious for YEARS.
Half this, half Hikari being uncomfortable about Yuu still having feelings for her own best friend who is also Yuu´s ex girlfriend (also other Hikari hypocresy when she said in chapter 21.5 she considered her "friendship" with "Aya-chan" as even more important than her falling in love for "Taa-kun").
The "two-timing" whom Seki talked it in chapter 43. And to be fair, Yuu definitely should have talked it during his confession after learn Hikari and Ayami are now the best friends from directly Yami´s mouth.
