And maybe I got just high standards after reading 24 hours RTA and The Villainess Within, but seeing how this was played out more comedic then anything else it just felt a bit lackluster. Though I guess it does fit with how the clown is being an absolute clown.
Except the readers wanted to get to the end to see the villains get their justice desserts.
Holly shit what a rushed letdown .
i'm not satisfied with this story until i learn that Robin got executed, but i kinda doubt it with the tone of this manga
The one thing I'll say about this manga that I've said from the beginning, even back in the earlier chapters while I was with STHAR Scans, is leveraging expectations because it's meant to be super light with some pretty standard shoujo-esque drama. It's always been like this, not overall too deep. The villains get more of the Saturday morning cartoon treatment than dramatic retribution. I know everyone's been saying they want Robin's guts strung up like Christmas lights, but that was never going to be in this manga's borderline inconsequential repertoire. So, don't be too mad y'all. This manga is just silly fun thing with goofy anime bad guys. 😅
Not going to mention plot spoilers from the remaining 7 chapters, but one thing I'll note is that
it's pure home-life "drama" and fluff.
