Seriously, the anime crammed 3 volumes into one season, which is way too much considering a lot of smaller events happened in them.i swear, anime ver. isn't even as cool as this manga ver., which is a shame since i always imagined this scene to be quite like this when reading the novel
yeah, when i watch the anime before as well, it have massive "novel promotion only anime" vibeSeriously, the anime crammed 3 volumes into one season, which is way too much considering a lot of smaller events happened in them.
They also removed a lot of subplots that will be relevant in later volumes too(almost everything about Opus, most of Cayna's improvements on the village (and the scholars who were attracted to the village), Cayna's niece, etc.), so I have a feeling they made the anime assuming season 2 won't be happening.
EDIT: seems like there are some novel readers here, can anyone just tell me when she learns that the two other guys are players too?
Quick question for the novel readers: Did we just witness her going all out or is this a "looks like I need to actual put a little effort in this" situation
The animated adaptation was just bad. It's like the studio completely missed the point of the series.Seriously, the anime crammed 3 volumes into one season, which is way too much considering a lot of smaller events happened in them.

to add up to the previous reply you gotQuick question for the novel readers: Did we just witness her going all out or is this a "looks like I need to actual put a little effort in this" situation
definitely not wrong, they couldn't even show Cayna inner conflict that are related to her irl stuff, which is actually a big character building for herThe animated adaptation was just bad. It's like the studio completely missed the point of the series.
Kind of like the animated adaptation of Tensei Kenja no Isekai Life ~Daini no Shokugyou wo Ete, Sekai Saikyou ni Narimashita~.
