I was wondering how to translate the 姉 (-nee) suffix but this manga is so Japanese-y, I figured you are already familiar with it so I kept it as is. Kinda feels like giving up on my translator role but trying to translate this into English always sounds so freaking weird... >_>
If you're wondering what it means, it literally means "big sister" but it's frequently used by young people when referring to older girls they feel close to.

With such a manga, it's honestly not easy to figure out what needs to be translated, explained in TL notes or kept as is. Like, I don't know how many readers already knew what "hanami" was?
But I think people reading such a manga are open to learning a few common Japanese words that don't really have an English equivalent. So here you go lol

Is Ginta a boy or a girl? Usually the -kun suffix refers to a boy, but not always and this is an onee-loli yuri manga so you would expect Ginta to be a girl. Itou Hachi also might just want to try some shotacon.

Thanks for the translation! Personally I prefer it when the translator keeps the Japanese honorifics. Oftentimes there's some nuances that just don't translate well or sound awkward in English to me.

I'm fairly sure Ginta is a boy. Itou doesn't seem to have an issue with portraying males in (at least) this comic. She talks about the "elder" and "an old man", etc.... I'm pretty sure the -kun refers to beng a boy.

Ginta is a boy yeah. He uses "ore" when talking about himself and in a later chapter, Inari compares him to a little brother.
