you could argue this is still the better timeline since he gets with her with confidence instead of trying to fix her crystal ball so she can get with the hot idol and she pushes the broken pieces away to plant a kiss on otaku showing him who she really likes. Although you gotta feel bad for the Shirahoshi of this timeline since there's no Otaku in Shining Armor to save her from the rich kid.
