Was worried a bit that MC is gonna be the hard-headed, reckless-for-waifu types, but it seems that he got some self-control.
Well, for now, since it's all thanks to that army chick.

@rhino36 expecting a japanese author to be accurate about foreign facts is equivalent to asking them to admit to warcrimes; it just won't happen.

This guy is too emotional and never thinks things through. Just HOW did he save that girl when she was kidnapped as a kid (i doubt he did)

so

the mc thinks he can still save aoi while being surrounded.

I see I'm not the only one who thinks MC is a dumbass. The author is trying to imply that he has some super OP subconscious assassin ability or something when he falls into the extremes of extreme(as implied when Aoi got kidnapped), but he's not really doing anything and might get army woman killed with his stupidity hero complex.

The protagonist here is probably marginally less stupid than the average manga protagonist, and a lot less than the average mangadex commenter.

I still have some unease feel about Akira. She might be actually a part of the tribe and leading these helpless survivors to gain trust for now.
