FMC: I doubt we'll never use vectors and trigonometry in our lives. I want to cry!
Me: Suffering with algebra :meguuusad:
Edit: Jokes aside, it's true that you don't see the interest of learning math at school. but you will eventually regret not learning it at work.
The only reason I worked hard at math because it was my career choice to be a game developer ( previously it was "scientist" during my 1st grade, but it was deducted as too broad by our advisor ). Which I duly followed in life.

P.S. The college accounting subject IS very useful in being a manager. A good manager knows good accounting. A bad manager reflects lack of accounting ability - literally and figuratively speaking.

In the end it is better to have a model representation than pulling everything out of the ass to explain real life mistakes.

Why do I have to learn it?
This manga asks the real question we also ask.
Then again, for a grown man who time leaped into the past, I was expecting him to ignore Mitsurugi when they met in the hallway.

You just realized that? There was no point talking to him in the first place.
A good person will try to make a deal with an opponent until the other party is adamant on conflict.

He was so straight to the point in like Ch. 3 when he told the bully to fuck off but it's like he's lost all of that with this guy just because he keeps talking about Haruka. Like now that he has a crush, he's back to a dumb teen but also thinks he's being mature because he has the memories. The studying scene was cute af at least so it's ok

Does this guy even know what she's like as a person? It's like her entire being consists only of her family name.

Wow I’m super impressed. In most instances the horrible brat becomes a main character and flirts with the love interest in front of the MC. Heck if they are a hot vampire they can willingly suck the love interests blood while the MC watches and cries (actually happened and was put to print)
I didn't expect that scene is still stuck like a buttplug in peoples asses.

It really is an exciting chapter especially when so many people seethed in the forum lmao

The problem with math taught it schools is that the actual useful day to day stuff Is mixed in with useless shit you will genuinely never need to remember unless ya going into a specialised career, at which point ya take higher maths

Lmao right?! I can't believe that people are still seething. Like the author has made it clear OVER and OVER again that, that scene was a whole lot of nothing.

Ogami Tsumiki is a great series. Chapter three was where the world lost their fucking minds.
Huh! I did actually read that chapter, back when it came out and I was still following the series. Wouldn't have guessed it warranted such a response, I didn't even go into the comments for that one…

I think I must have dropped the series shortly afterwards because I can't remember any stink being raised in the comments to any subsequent chapter. Then again, maybe I just didn't look into the comments at all, as I do remember feeling that there wasn't anything that happened in any chapter I read that was worth discussing. I figure it's just that kind of story.

But it's really wholesome and there's been no sus moments besides that one weird scene. It's great. But yeah there's like 300+ comments on there. So weird.

But it's also true that it really depends on what job you have. Algebra is extremely common in most work places. But I (31) currently work as a Contracts Representative reviewing terms and conditions, preparing NDAs, etc. I haven't seen or used trigonometry in over 10 years.

I'm even taking college classes through my works tuition reimbursement so I can pursue a path of software engineering and I haven't done any math yet (probably because I already had the required credits from my previous college stints). I know I'll need it in the future, so I'm glad I like math, but if your job doesn't use it, most post-algebra math doesn't help you

I was interested whether that was a lot, compared to other chapter discussions. That thread sits at number 158 of threads, sorted by number of replies. I don't know what that means! But damn, some manga get tons of comments all the time.

Ofc.. ofc.. the romance "antagonist" does what a nonsensical overused "hurdle" does, very typical.. it's basically just a filler at this point to "add" plot which in actuality it doesn't. (japanese curry/10)
