Do you know what the worst thing is? Probably the author will regenerate this character in the future. It seems like a trend that bad characters become good ones. In Bokuyaba there was senpai who did horrible things, but at the character's farewell at graduation the author regenerated him. I don't understand one thing, his maternal family will use him in a marriage of interest, but won't help him at all?
idk if he did "horrible things" lol you make him sound like he killed someone or something
do agree tho just not about paisen

Talking shit about your home.
Talking shit about your father/family.
Talking shit about your relationship with your girlfriend.

...This guy is asking to get his ass beaten.

At this point Eiji should talk to his maternal grandparents and ask why are they agreeing to betrothed him with Aoi (Jogasaki Family). From my understanding the Jogasaki Family (Aoi Grandfather) propose for the engagement first and then Nikaido Family (Eiji Grandfather) agreed to it, and since it is an engagement between conglomerates, there would be some contracts and conditions. It would not be good if his engagement are not because of they love each other (which they actually are in love with each other) but because of contracts and condition which could be broken if both party (their grandparents) decide to do so.

But maybe the author will use that kind of drama plot in the future chapter to spice things up...

...but we don't need you to recognize our relationship...

You know, this manga may be like a million other "loser-but-kind otaku is suddenly engaged to a rich girl who's been secretly in love with him for years" stories (which I may or may not have bookmarked), but this one line is a hidden gem. I can't believe an MC finally said it (even if it was to himself)!

And then everybody clapped:
You know what, I fucking love this corny vibe, it's early but seems like MC is changing. I love this fluff... that's what I would have said if I didn't see the last chapter AHHHHH pls don't be a love triangle.

I have 3 things to say:
1st: Guys I think the author did the unforgivable, breaking the one rule that a Romcom like this shall never break... The main character just had Chracter growth:eek: yes he actually realized that he should stop caring about others opinion and just enjoy himself! What a traitor! this is not supposed to happen! what comes next? He's actually gonna do the deed or smth?UNTHINKABLE!

2nd: Author really did it lol they changed McDonalds to WcDonalds :ROFLMAO:

3rd: Bro I swear I hate it this show didn't have a harem tag so why tf we getting some random Kohai bitch appearing now? FUCK YOU!

Pleasantly satisfying chapter, people accepted his relationships instead of being jealous as they always do in these "rich beauty" stories. I hope the bully remains an antagonist and keeps getting humiliated like this, fully deserved for that ass

Nanjou didn't do horrible things. He was just kinda pushy and self-absorbed. He never tried to humiliate Ichikawa in public like this guy did. In fact, he helped him get the bike out of the river. It doesn't feel like a big stretch for him to gracefully accept his loss and step aside. The character in this manga is much more like a comic book villain.

Do you know what the problem really is? There's no apology. I used force to get your number. I tricked your friend into getting close to you. Do I need to apologize? Couldn't the author at least make him apologize? In the end it seemed like he was a nice character.

I don't think anyone had the impression that he was a nice guy by the end, just that he at least admitted defeat gracefully. And my point wasn't that what he did was nice, just that it wasn't HORRIBLE. He was and is pickup-pai, he uses those lame pushy pickup tactics to get with Yamada, but he doesn't want to hurt Ichikawa to do it. Compare that with what this guy is doing, he's a full on raging bully and he wants to humiliate the MC in front of the whole class to try to get him to back off from the FL.
