Romcom heroines are way too simple. You show them a single act of kindness and boom! You got yourself a (future) wife.

I don't care, they are pure and precious couple and I'm glad seeing this happy end.

... shouldn't she be taking up the reigns if her family's company by now? Isn't there an entire classist wall between the two of them that needs to be overcome? Did he really just propose to her the moment they met after 5 years of no contact? I get it's axed, but dang, this decapitated head flew really far in logic to reach a "happy ending."

Oh the "Let's remain single and abstinate for the next 5 years and then get together" trope... Thanks! I hate it very much! It was nice to see this terrible kind of ending yet again!

I really liked the concept at the beginning and despite the story getting kinda boring midway I still enjoyed reading this but the second half of last chapter was really bad.
Not only did they not clear up about the other characters after the time skip but the time skip itself was really bad since it's completely pointless to avoid eachother until MC succeeds in his carrer.

And MC said that he wanted to be worthy of FMC, but how can a novel write be worthy of the only daughter of such a huge business company. And why has noone mentioned about the fact that she was for God knows why still working in that sweet shop instead of focusing on her buisness.

If just that one line "five years we didn't meet" was removed it would have made a lot more sense without changing anything else. It could have been a lot more satisfying.

Looks like this particular sub-genre is quickly falling out of favour. Kiraboshi Ojou-sama no Kyuukon was also axed not long ago.

Now that leaves "arranged marriage" manga to see how long they can last now.

She's just slumming it for some reason.
She probably owns that shop outright at that point and is merely there to satisfy her own interest/hobby. But given this was probably axed the writing was rushed.

Grand prizes for novelists can actually be very hard to achieve. For example Kyoto Animation Awards, which is actually mainly for novelists, only ever has one Grand Prize winner (that was Violet Evergarden).

Huh, I forgot that the mangaka to this was not the same as the one that did the manga that got me to read this one, it's just the artist that was the same. That explains that.

Still, it was a very hard follow up peak, and this didn't even really get close in the end. Had an okay start, but really fell off, and it was kinda sad to see.

If anyone sees this and hasn't read the artist's previous work, go and read Sensei wa Koi wo Oshierarenai, it's very good.

That ending was dumb. It was a smooth and cozy ride so far, and them BAM, a rocky landing by the end.

But at least it did not crash into the ground and set on fire like some other manga or end in an ambiguos way so i guess that's a plus.

Sad that it just ended there... well I enjoyed it for the short while it lasted... decent ending at least!
