I honestly don't know if this is where I should post this, but a series seems to have vanished from the site. The series was called Noraneko Shoujo to no Kurashikata by Shiina. Fairly typical semi-romantic 18+ JK lives with salaryman story, but since I heard it recently ended I wanted to read it. But the series and article no longer exist. If the translations had all disappeared or been blocked I would understand, as I get the recent blocks and I've seen translations removed before (I'm 99% sure there used to be translations for a few volumes of Sannensa that are now gone). However, the series no longer exists at all, nor the author, and I cannot even post about this in the (still existing) threads made for the series and individual chapters as I get an error message saying the series doesn't exist. I'm just curious what happened. There are plenty of series posted without translations, but I've never seen an entire series simply disappear before.

Stubble would also have been acceptable.

In my opinion, this girl is a case of "walks like a duck, talks like a duck, must be a duck."
Except that this particular lake is full of swans that walk and talk like ducks. Like I said, it's far from uncommon for grown women in content of any maturity level ("Safe", "Suggestive", "Erotica" or "Mature") to have no hair, regardless of how the men look. All the more so when the women are in college and the men are past, since technically the average growth stage for women lasts through early twenties.

No that's just called sexual fantasm.
To believe literally what you said is kinda worrying. Go talk with women or take a class of anatomy.

I'm saying in fiction, not even just that branch of fiction, trimming is not uncommon with women, especially compared to men. And if you're talking about the point when growth ends, I didn't get it from stories, I got it from studies. It's true for both men and women, though the exact range may differ between genders. Either way men and women are indeed still in the midst of "growing up" when they're in college. Part of why I think 21 is too low an age limit on drinking. In any case while not common it's hardly unheard for a person to have little or no hair at 20, and in anime and manga it's the more common outcome.

Calm down guys, going back and forth like that is wasted energy. Its up to somebody in MD staff to decide what stays and what goes.

If possible keep this thread support oriented as possible. The thread in news was unlocked (after some cooler heads prevailed) so discussions not directly needing help can be done over there

Sure and sorry. Whenever I get caught in a disagreement or discussion I find it hard to let go.

There is a difference when your brain is finally complete and the first time that you grow pubis hair.

It varies widely though, and there are people out there that have little or no hair. It just happens that in anime and manga if that area is shown many draw people, especially women, without that feature regardless whether they're supposed to be prepubescent or menopausal.

Is there whole list of these removed titles?
I thought it was stated somewhere there would NOT be a list, much like with the DMCA purge. (I will try to dig around to see if I can find where it was mentioned)

Which is kind of unfortunate as it would possibly limit the ability to appeal the removal of any series.

Probably should have given her hair down there like the artist did for the adult guy if they wanted us to believe she was past puberty.
What are you talking about? 62% of American adult women remove their pubic hair:

https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC11558735/

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39534947/

98% of UK adult women remove their pubic hair:

https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/am_i_b...f-UK-women-under-25-have-no-pubic-hair-at-all

Why are you assuming that adult women always have pubic hair? That's very strange.

Women have the right to modify their body however they wish, including removing pubic hair.

You should take your own advice.

The majority of adult women remove their pubic hair, as proven by scientific studies.

You would know that if you actually spoke to a woman even a single time in your entire life.

You should read my other comment. If she was removing body hair the artist could draw stubble to make that clear (as many artists do). But the point is moot and I won't be discussing the stray cat manga anymore. We found that the character is 17.

Should probably include xnot's message, as well.

Why are you assuming that the only way to remove pubic hair is shaving?

Epilators exist, wax exists, and in fact wax is extremely common and popular:

https://www.technavio.com/report/hair-removal-wax-market-industry-analysis

Epilators and wax do not leave any stubble at all, it completely removes the hair from the root.

And even if it was shaving, a close shave does not create stubble, it creates completely smooth skin.

Your ignorance about women's bodies is truly incredible, and yet you think you are some sort of moral crusader who is "protecting women". Did the women ask you to do this on their behalf?

And why are you treating fictional characters as if they are real? Drawings don't have an age. It could be 500 years in the future, and that character will still be "17", because it's not a person, it doesn't age.

Also, the average age of consent in Europe and South America is 14. And even in America the age of consent in most states is 16.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Age_of_consent

So according to you, it is morally wrong to draw a picture of a fictional person who is supposedly 17, even though it is fully legal for a man to have sex with a real 14 year old girl.

So you care more about protecting the "human rights" of a "17 year old" drawing, than you do about protecting actual real people.

I had a long reply to this and I accidentally deleted it:notlikethis:

But it was basically, the story doesn't allow for other grooming options and no indication of any grooming at all.

Consent laws are too low.

Not trying to protect anyone. Sharing info from the story in question since no on had.
