The thing that bugs me the most from this is that I KNOW I've seen that face in the speech bubble before, but I can't remember where and it's not unique enough for a reverse image search to find it, either. It's like this on their own site, too, so maybe it was from whatever raw site they got it from (wasn't Sen)?

yeah, disqus section is banned in so many manga sites, but they probably don't care about people commenting about quality even if they did see it

honestly though, i don't really care if utoon picked up a manga title, but it's kind of annoying that they've been occasionally sniping actively translated titles, as far as i know, it's kind of an unspoken rule that a team shouldn't pick up a title unless it got abandoned by the original translator or the original translation is extremely bad

the most annoying aspect of sniping an active title for me especially is that, it sometimes discourage the original translation team and it made some of them quit, i've seen it happen with some titles

This just happened with Legend. Project Time just dropped that one because of Utoon/ManhwaFreak doing this BS.

I actually did find this, the other two has their usual watermark but the very first chapter seems to be the very first chapter they did (https://mangadex.org/group/c094d181-672a-4b05-8b72-0c4f46b34c77/fake-jail-translations, tho they posted once five months ago and never came back so idk if there's a way to contact them and confirm if they're stolen or someone who joined the utoon team later on)

tho i guess a full on ban would inconvenience ppl reading the korean series but yeah. Idk how many 'strikes' they'd need but a small handful of Korean focused sites i've seen have gotten 'banned' for aggregating or so/stealing chapters as opposed to the paywall locking like Hivetoons did
