This was enjoyable, Ironically people complain about it being a self insert, and same as all the others but for the most part we still end up reading them so ya know may as well give the author a break can't always hit all the right marks.

@Sep10trion He didn't forge the armor. It was all dropped by the first thing he killed. A slight improvement over how in the original webnovel the clothing he wore out into the city also had 'ultimate defense' on them and was woven of not silk but mithril that looked like silk.....

Old age functionally. He was so powerful the world started to basically worship then fear him so he secluded himself. He touched upon the might of the gods and was invited to become one and said no which was part of why people started fearing him. He wanted to die a human though in spite of all his power. So he secluded himself away in this home in one of the most dangerous places in the world and eventually died sitting in a cave in said forest with his journal that the MC finds and reads eventually.

It's kinda annoying that the MC needs to be good-looking so the author changed his appearance. Like, either keep him ugly or make him good-looking from the beginning. The story tries to take a moral high ground by showing he was bullied for the sole reason of his appearance, and then decides "fuck ugly people, let's make him good-looking and now everybody likes him". What a great message to be sending.

This is a fun read! I usually wait for the chapter count to reach double digits before I start reading, but I'm glad I didn't this time.
