Well, hopefully for the sake of the world, he realizes that it's too intense and needs dialed back a bit... But for the story, I'd love to see the whole world react to that level, then the next day he's just wondering why nobody else showed up to school.
Also, that last page is a sudden twist, but could lead to very cool scenes if the MC actually fights or gets mad for once. Seeing calm characters like him get pushed to action can be very fun.
