So the typical, "Everyone looks down on me because I didn't come out of the gate overpowered, but fail to realize my skill makes me invincible." A good trope, but in this context?
And the deal of, "raise 10 orphans..." is such a bullshit, one-sided deal. To raise someone is to care for them in till they are deemed 'adult'. Which, even if you're lucky, is still a good few years. The king is either hoping he'll fail and die or just complete his task (most orphans are small children) and die from old age.

Actually given that the societal level of that world dictates that at most the kids will shackle him for about 14 - 16 years if he has to raise one or two from infancy which given that he states "orphans" really points to some if not all being 4-8 so actually about 10 years of his life he is expecting to rob if not flat out expect him to fail

What's with the trope that support class/skill is trash? With help from support a party with average lv10s can perform like lv14s. And also including if he has anti debuff or any lifesaving skills that can turn the tide of any battle
