I feel like this whole god of death arc wasn't really needed in this manga. Kinda out of left field? Also, the whole "everyone holding the sword power of friendship" thing was kinda cringe. All I wanted was a cute loli pokemon collection comfy orphanage story.

The MC literally gets a power boost from protecting the orphans. The death god wasn't beaten with the power of friendship but with the power of using human shields to game the system.

Is author/editor expecting us to feel bad for a kidnapper and mass murderer?

Because she had "reasons"? :questionblob:
Is it murder if the one doing the killing is death herself 🤔

Honestly she kept stressing so much about the hero thing that I wonder if the hero is supposed to be a bad guy or something and that’s why she was relieved to find out he isn’t the hero but the orphanage director

Hmmmm...

Well MC and co. literally reduced the incarnation of Death itself to dust and cemented themselves as god slayers. Can we go higher than that? I hope not because if that was the peak we can finally go back to the main premise already: running an orphanage in another world.

Thanks for the translation.

It's pretty clear what happened here. Not sure how you got that out of my comment. I'm not saying that they literally won with the power of friendship, I'm saying that the type of scene portrayed here with everyone holding the sword obviously resembles that trope...

Feels like just a couple more chapters until we finally get an axed end.

HERO is pretty unfortunate now he is treated like a goddamn human shield, the holy sword treated him only as carrier too. What else this guy misfortune continues?
I mean, aren't all the other classmates dead now? Seems he is pretty lucky all things considered lol.

Not gonna lie, I kinda feel bad for 'Mr. Hero' there, even if he is an idiot.
