They mention specifically in the chapter that, if those materials start circulating in the local economy, any visitors would get suspicious. Especially when a bunch of those nations are your nominal allies.

I just can't with this manga anymore. It's just a series of plot beats with no connective tissue.

• Bilbo gives the ring to Frodo
• Gandalf tells Frodo the Ring must go to Rivendell, they're in Rivendell now
• The ring must be destroyed, so we'll go destroy it now.
• Too bad we had to go through the mines and Gandalf died.
• Frodo and Sam are going off together.
• Isengard is destroyed by trees. Oh we haven't mentioned Isengard yet? Don't worry about it, they won't come up again.
• Aragorn survived Helm's Deep. It was a cool battle we'll give you cliff-notes for, it'll be over in like 6 panels, don't worry.
• Mordor's army is marching on Gondor!
• Good thing they won that battle, because they needed to see Sauron die after Frodo and Sam destroyed the ring and Frodo lost a finger.
• Frodo is leaving Middle Earth now.
• The End.

Such a great story! Good thing we didn't bother with all the boring bits that get us invested in the characters and world.

I shouldn't have to read the source material to fill in the gaps of the adaption. The adaption should enhance the understanding of the source by adding more details, context, and slight changes. Check Wrong Way to Use Healing Magic. The manga adaption trimmed fat without cutting out the meat of the story

You're right, I don't have to read it, which is why I dropped it on this chapter. If you don't agree with my opinion of the manga, that's fine, but this is public forum where I expressed my frustration that an interesting manga that I was enjoying started rushing through story beats without any concept of pacing or character development. I'm not hurting anyone with my comment
