So how much is 100,000 NAR worth? I don't think the past chapters ever explained the value in terms of real money.

@OsoJr His unique skill hit level 2. Makes you wonder when it hits level 3 will he make a plat coin a day... sheesh

@Nk9bjP4A I agree, money is hard to pin down, from what has been listed so far, we know that 5k as an entrance fee was cheap... 1 million for a dozen~ (or so) potions on LOW tier which seemed fairly cheap, yet we have the two fighters labeled 600k and 400k as slaves... they laughed at his silver coin being worth 10k (during the drinking party and he when summons the gold coins states it is x10 the worth of the last coin). A gold coin was worth 100k, and yet... we have Wendy who defies logic at a staggering 120 million. Is she just not for sale and given an insane price that would satisfy if accrued? Food for thought, if his unique skill hits level 3 (hopefully no time soon) and brings the next tier which are usually platinum coins, and following the logic we know so far... making 1 mil a day would become severely op really quickly... I suppose he wouldn't have trouble buying every ingredient to level his alchemy skill.

@tuffymon The pricing of the slaves is based on their abilities, looks, body, blemishes etc. The only thing the two figthers could do was fight and one was willing to go to bed, but had no skills there. I would not be surprised if Wendy have been properly trained to pretty much be the perfect wife with training similar to what we see from mangas with queens in training, but swap politics for bed skills.

Also, potions have always been at a premium no matter what world you are in, since it takes time to gather materials and craft them, so have to include market price for materials, cost of labour to gather them and make them, then add 10-20% on top of that to make sure they make a profit. Seeing as the pharmaceutical guild sells potions as well, but apparently at a steeper price then the alchemy guild while also being more shit, we know that the adventurers guild much rather prefer to buy alchemy guild pots then pharma pots.

End note: The entire idea why he chose the skills he did was to make money fast enough to make it op, so once he skills up to make better potions, can probably make 10s of millions of gold a day if he wanted, but most likely he will work for a day, lounge for 6 if not more, repeat.

@Chet31 You missed the entire point of my post... and that's the value of money, we still don't know if a person with 1 million is rich or just above the poverty line. Obviously the main character is going to be disgustingly rich later on, that skill will upgrade eventually and he'll do whatever he wants at his pace.

What I'm talking about though is things like if 1 dozen (I counted 11, but it was hard to tell) potions were worth 1 mil, that makes 1 potion cost roughly 83,333 (yet a 10k silver coin was laughed at), since you just had 2 of the most prominent guild members become slaves for 1 million... this makes 1 million seem like quite a lot. Instead of YA KNOW EVERYONE PITCHING IN TOGETHER TO PAY OFF THE DEBTS (or making baldy join in and having a trio of slaves), you'd rather have just 2 slaves and have everyone else drink and party, cool.

So does this mean potions that are life saving meant to outright bankrupt people and make new slaves (I could save your life, but you'll be my slave for a month or more)? Maybe that's the alchemy guild and pharmaceutical guild ulterior motive, but who knows just yet.

@tuffymon Well, here is a question we do not know the answer to yet; Does magic exist? We so far have not seen any mages nor any magic, since the slave contract was specified as a skill. So if magic doesn't exist, potions is the only way for them to heal, thus making them worth a ton more then anything else.

My guess is that the adventurers guild buys them in and either gives them for free with quests or sells them at a much discounted price to people doing quests and then maybe takes a bigger cut then they already do.

Also, alcohol is always dirt cheap.

120mil.. do she have a former identity like princess of a fallen kingdom or have sealed away hidden powers to have such price range..?
