Technically, it's should be "Songoku-chan (ソンゴクちゃん)" as a single word.

Just to be clear, Goku's full name Japanese was "Son Gokuu ( 孫悟空 / そんごくう )".
Aka., his surname was "Son", while his name was "Gokuu"
