This was a real strange pair of chapters. I guess it's world building to show how the rest of the town/people see his very unique handling of people, but this wasn't needed or should have been done as a much shorter 'omake' story than anything else. Heck, it's bad for us reading it scanlated like this, I could only imagine some of the Japanese reader confusion if this is a monthly release.

The story sometimes has these brief side stories. It’s happened a couple times so far. I think the tie in is supposed to be “these are the effects that the MC is having on the people around him. This is why they call him selfless.”

There was the side story featuring the soldier he healed, the slave that was proud to be running her own shop, and a couple of other short side stories featuring the other slaves that regularly reappeared in the story. This one was just a bit further away from the MC than usual.

Guess you didn't catch what was happening during those last few pages. Who Chikin was puling from her hand and why she had to call for Solmetra and specially at the end who Solmetra was hugging while crying.
