Seeing all of these "strong" people almost instantly fall madly in love with MC feels weird considering the actions and reactions of other people in this series. Especially the childhood friend character, she's a shitty person & from the hints I've seen in the comments she just gets worse, so it feels odd to have such polar extremes between characters, almost like she's only exists to balance them out. Nobody is just neutral with the guy, even the people who aren't love interests still admire him nonetheless, so instead of writing in characters he can just get along with or whatever without his power factoring in, they just went "Look! not everyone loves him, this dumb bitch basically holds him in contempt!" even though it doesn't really add much besides emphasizing that anyone who dislikes him is a goddamned idiot because he's just that special, lol

the dude from last chapter actually quite amicable even before know MC is DTJC, the reason he act like that just to make sure there no idiot like last shuffle time and some sort politic play like previous principal
