Is it just me or did the artist forget to erase the construction lines?

I hope he dies a slow and very painful death for this. No mercy for those who would willing turn innocent people into slaves.

It’s not like I can really hate this guy any more at this point. His first introduction was as “the guy Yuria is being forced to marry, who’s known for having murdered his previous fiancé.”

But yeah. Kill that guy.

So the guy has the blessing of the king, but fucks over his own people? Yep, classic idiot rapey villain.

Because the raw for 42.2 is already out:
1. There's no cheating or attempt at cheating at all.

2. Almus was mostly on defensive the whole fight, observing how Rigar fight and basically conclude that: Rigar is so used to winning just by his blessing's power that his actual skill is pretty trash, in fact King Fermes would likely win against him.

As the fight goes on, the spectators thing that Almus was getting pushed, but in reality Rigar is the one running out of breath.

At which point Almus casually turn to the judge (Yuria) goes "watch closely Yuria" and give her a wink.
That enraged Rigar and made him charge in.

Almus deflected his blow to the side, causing him to fumble to the ground, and Almus goes for a diagonal slash.
Rigar finally click that he's about to get CHOP'd and surrenders in panic.
The cut sliced through Rigar's sword, and stopped right before it cut his neck.

Yuria then declares Almus the winner.

After that Almus was like "oops, if only I'd just kill him then pretty much all the problems would end right there" (i.e. he stopped the swing after hearing Rigar's surrender and not because he planned to let him live from the start)
And then he notice the state of Rigar and that the latter pissed his pants and decide he'll pretend he didn't see that out of pity.

As far as Isekai goes, this is surprisingly competent except for the typical evil guy who'se evil for the sake of being evil and his evilness makes literally 0 sense.
Other than that, despite falling in almost every single isekai pitfall out there, at least the author took the time to read a few wikipedia pages before writting this and that's more than can be said for 90% of isekai out there.

Sure, keep thinking your dirty thoughts. They can keep you company in the cold dark forgotten corner of your grave.

this idiot doesn't even do the basics of info gathering on his enemy, he has NO Idea Almus has the same blessing. or the weapon or anything about almus. hes so fixated on birth rank that he misses Everything Else.

and the power of the king is dependent on the LOYALTY of those he "rules"..and what has this gibert dude been doing? ....

good thing that the evil guy is fodder so you don't have to put with it much longer.

Core of a dragon? What's that? Since the gryphon hates it, you'd think it's a part of a dragon, but there's no way those humans would be able to beat a dragon when a gryphon is already an unimaginable opponent for them. Perhaps those people of the east are just scavengers that actually sneak in the shadows, waiting for one dragon to finish another dragon, and then they go and steal the fallen dragon's core (whatever that is).

Few times I've been so happy to know for sure that someone is going to get thrashed
