Bro do you know how annoying and confusing it is to have two different groups releasing the same chapters? I would understand if this was an abandoned series, but please respect the team that is already actively translating this manga. All it does is mess up the index of chapters and makes it hard to follow for everyone.

I can't be kind about this. I don't like this. Especially when this gets updated with quality translations. I understand the desire to translate something, but pick something else. There are projects that have literally been dormant for years. People sniping chapters with bad translations has caused good groups to drop projects in the past.

Is the whole interbreeding not a thing a plot point to prevent people from asking if Roxanne/Sherry/whoever would get knocked up or something? Feels like it was a forced point for some reason.

Look the book is well treated by its usual translators and is generally on a good schedule. I see no reason for you to drop an "almost ok" translation on us. I applaud your desire to translate. But pick one that needs the work put into it. This does not. I see no reason to prefer yours over Shales. If you are going to snipe a well treated book you had better arrive with something that makes us want yours instead. I'll wait for the other.

Completely serious/earnest question: Is English your first language?

Because I'm always curious when I see people say that a translation is very good/great/excellent/perfect/whatever when it honestly looks like it's been run through MTL with very little, if any, polish or tweaking.

I think you're on something.
English isn't my first language, so for I miss a lot of typos if I either tired, not focus enough or reading quickly because there is little to read. So in those cases, the quality must be really low before thinking it is not good.

Thank you for saying there is a block feature because never knew about it and now I will 100% be using this. As i've had like 5 series i read got these people thinking they can just magically TL and result in a good product and just end up looking like word barf and so muchlower quality than the established TL group.

Not really. If the author take inspiration from IRL science then interbreeding is not possible for different species, and the races in the story are not of the same species.
