@useruser The cover here on MangaDex at time of posting is from the Light Novel. You can’t remove covers, the first tankoubon hasn’t been solicited yet and the colour art on Comic Gardo is 1:1 which is below the 1:1.5 requirements.

A good DM (and authors too I assume) knows to avoid putting mind control like status on PCs (MC in this case)... Its like the ultimate plot armor, the author of this manga can have the mc do anything and he the mc doesn't even needs a reason to do it the author can just blame it on "confusion"

@Alncst Except it wasn't really used in that way at all. It just suppresses his emotions when they're overflowing and adds 1.0 to "confusion", which wasn't explained at all so far, no idea what it actually does. I personally liked how it was used so far, with two out of three times the character abruptly calming down after he was about to have a freakout over the otherworldly situation he's in. Simply showed that he wasn't comfortable with the situation to the point of having a panic attack, but quickly gave him the chill-pill to not dwell on that and move the story along.

To anybody reading the *N, how long does it take to explain what's up with the Confusion stat that he's getting when on the verge of a panic attack?

Judging by what I think.

The "confusion" stat is a modifier for his status.

He's basically trading Emotions for not being confused at his surroundings.

IE: he's going to end up like that "Overlord" MC dude... who has no emotions on what's good and evil but remains clam at all time.

I read the LN translations a while back.

Don’t read this manga if you like happy endings and for your MC to always stomp, humiliate, and kill his opponents.

Only despair lies at the end, and the more hope you have, the higher and harder you’ll fall.

The best word I can use to describe this story is “unfair”.

Contrary to that, I think that’s what makes this series unique or likable.

It’s still getting translated, and an actual tragedy has yet to occur imo. We haven’t gone Romeo and Juliet tier on character deaths.

This... is surprisingly interesting... The atmosphere varies between light-hearted and pretty dark at some moment, It's a little soon to see if they are just gonna be overpowered gods who can do anything they want, but the hero isn't really the dumb overpowered Isekai mc we're used too, he actually has some sign of intelligence at time lol
And it seems like the series will actually have the mc struggle and suffer in the future....
I don't really like that harem tag but if there aren't more than 2 or 3 love interest I might be fine with it...

Also, Dia is honestly really cute, and this is enough for me.
All in all, not a bad isekai, I would read this over some smartphone trash isekai anytime.

Wow I got spoiled a little in the comment section of the light novel but what's up with them mentioning the volume 3 being too dark so much ?
Does it have to do with that mind control tag on Novelupdate? I didn't see any rape tag so it can't be that bad right ?
