The girls had it rough, losing their most loved ones (Mother) Twice and absorbing both of their mothers to themselves paired with those amount of Despair drives them to be like this
Though they seems still retains some amount of sanity, most likely they will still joining Takuto, also they become witches, a being said that is as strong as Atou/Hero
To be honest I don't know what will happened next, maybe the sisters will even fight Atou/Takuto for a bit before fully back to their senses

Fuuuuuck. Weaponized PTSD.

I just hope that they stay sane and that MC doesn't have to put them down, cause, that would just be super shitty +1.
He’s the literal evil faction. None of them are sane. It’s not a matter of them staying sane, it’s a matter of them being loyal. MC is one of only a few that has shown them affection, they’ll stay loyal.

I did not expect this. I did expect them to turn into new heroes of his, not new Witches that are an enemy to all, including his own faction.
Also surprised their powers was different from isla's, thought it was a form of inheritance ceremony where they would get same power, or at least something related.

Overall, I really did like the vibes of theirs. Insane twin sisters conceptually on polar opposite themes, that curse the world to oblivion.

Though it really feels like excessive Emotional Damage considering all they did was eat their mother a second time. They seemed rather sane when they started eating, and the huge schism to who they were before it is not proportional. But I'll chalk it up to system/magic-system clash between strategy game and native inhabitant, doing magical bullshittery for Rule Of Cool, and be happy with that.

Even if they do stay sane, at least one of them has to be put down cause she spreads her pain to anything nearby.
Or I guess she could be left alone in a detached building far away from anyone~

They become, and are still up to the point I have read, heroes of Mynogrha. Very much still insane, but able to function on the day to day except during full moons.

Pretty interesting how both sisters took the same traumatic event and came to opposite conclusion.

If you’re bummed about this arc, I might tap out if I were you. Atou and Takuto don’t get to play house again for at least two volumes of the LN. (However many chapters that translates to for the manga I can’t say)

It should be noted that he is the "designated Evil". While his servants are certainly amoral and definitely not good persons they do subscribe to his believe and think that a "peaceful Country" is best while some of the "Designated Good" Countries where actually kind of shitty like the Elfs (who where the ones that decided to genocide the "Neutral" Dark Elves). Honestly Mynoghra is probably a better place to live than many.
Of course all of this might be the result of another "Game" interfering with the World. An Isekai World having a Game systems is an old hat but I actually find the concept of an Isekai World adapting the Game Systems of it's isekai'd targets into it's own kinda interesting, especially in this case since we actually have conflicting Systems here.

Chills. Literal chills.

Just reread this again and it makes more sense. Mynoghra is an "evil" country, hence why Isla forced the "neutral" dark elf twins to consume her to forcibly make them the "hero" to break free from the "scripted event" system. And now that they became "hero", the enemy who is also "evil" will be powerless against the "hero" in the "scripted event" system.

Well at least that's from my understanding. Basically the main point here is the "alignment" (is this the term?). Just in case someone still got confused on what happened.

So their power is to Thanos Snap everyone during full moons. Interesting.

Can't stop reading the latest chapter -- it's dark, gory, but gives a rather fulfilling revenge albeit short and that's satisfying, I suppose.

Thanks for the translation

The next faction they fight against comes from a table top RPG and the big bad is a DM. His power (yes his) is basically to control reality up to the point where the rule book of his “campaign” will allow him. It’s super over powered and he basically can control all out comes. He uses this power to give one of the characters he rolled the ability to forcibly change Atou’s alignment. The character in question is sort of obnoxious and calls the ability “Forced NTR”

It’s not as bad as you are think, in fact the way it’s implemented shows how deep Atou’s affection is in a couple of funny scenes. Her hips, in fact, do not move on their own, and Takuto actually finds a clever solution on how to change her alignment again AND defeat an enemy that can rewrite reality.

I won’t spoil further than that, because it’s a fairly satisfying conclusion to a tense arc, and Takuto turns out to be a genuinely clever protagonist.

Hopefully there are interesting limitations to their power system that actually come into play during the story.
