Yeah seen this coming, a cleric, soldier of god with Lawful Good allignment is always the worst kind of ally. Also Naraka sounds suspiciously similar to Indonesian of hell (Neraka), guess that's where they got the idea from.

Told you so! That fox grin. Never a good character.

Flipping through that book during life and death combat - priceless. 😅

Yanno. The best way to enjoy this story is to turn a blind eye on our knowledge of D&D. Try to think of the MC's perspective instead. I certainly know of quite a few people that played lots of games, but never touched any D&D stuff.

Interesting how "Lawful Good" turns out that they do you bad if you just happen to be on the bad side of their laws/beliefs. This world has quite a bit of depth.

Can't believe the guy who looks like Patches the hyena is also equally as antagonistic to the mc as Patches the hyena.

@Boots that would be fine and dandy if it weren't for the fact the we have seen his character sheet, and he is not evil, but neutral. Also, he never received the evil god blessing in the first place.

The problem people are having, is that the author blatantly copy D&D mechanics, save then adlibbing to patch his lazy writing; that, and the translator that insists on botching D&D terminology.

And by the way, @blackbunii, the horse name is RoCinante, not Rosinante; even if you never read Don Quixote, you should at least know about the expanse
One problem : he's literally holding the Evil God's most prized artifact. That's most likely what's giving off the evil aura, not him specifically.

Unless he knew she was Evil, there's not really much he could have done.
