It was axed because of health issues not because it's an ad. This seemed like it's going to be a full series but alas mangaka was not lucky.

For everyone else, it seems like 13-4 is the end (cliffhanger, don't bother reading). It's cut due to BARZ's poor health. Also, I could not find a light novel on Japanese Amazon past volume 3; volume 3 was released March 2020.

Sad to say, I think this series is cooked in all aspects/adaptions.

Brother I hate advertisment manga adaptations too but this is a cancellation because the mangaka has health issues.

Meh, can't really get invested or care about a story that is delivered in 30second read time pieces, it neither stays in your mind nor is long enough to engross or start caring about the characters. Even when read in "stacked up" "chapters" every time it loads the next "chapter" it resets ANY immersion it was starting to build up.
Not to mention the full chapter combined isn't even that long, so it being split into MULITPLE parts on top of it is just, frankly, hilariously stupid.

If I'm remembering correctly the mangaka was suffering from an illness and retired. So it's very well possible we will be left on a rage inducing cliff. Which would be rather sad.

I don’t know the exact wording. He swore on the tree which they value. However if the guy didn’t specify her being returned alive it’s kinda on the others too. I know it’s implied she gets returned alive but the elf is like an evil genie. Any wish not specific can be intentionally misinterpreted

Edited: read the novel and he breaks his promise because they weren’t elves. He says only promises to true elves are valued
