I really liked to binge read 20 something chapters a few months ago, the manga was chill, cute, slow life and had funny scenes. But ever since I caught up it's SO hard to like this as much, half a "chapter" per month is INSANE, specially with how everything has been progressing, even when we have time skips (like them saying they were on the crystal room for months) don't feel like time has passed at all.

hmm so just a thought...what are the chances that the other "heroes" who got summoned with the MC got smooshed, became the magic stone and now its kind of like a curse rock? ( since they were saying it was some apprentice that was summoning them and probably failed horribly )

Ah yes, the time honored strategy of executing the most competent of your retainers and their families when they make rational suggestions. I'm pretty sure this king and his empire were on their way towards collapse before MC even arrived in this world.
It's seem like it, but if the king still had his magic stone intact, it would have taken more time. He has been in power for so long and would have not let it happen without everything he got. The results could also be more devastating.

My interpretation is that the (rookie) god who did the summoning was trying to combat the corruption of the stone, meaning it already existed and was in use by the time the MC was summoned. My theory is it's the magic stone of the demon lord.

You know, I've always wondered why in stories that feature slave magic(which is to say the majority of isekai and fantasy ones),
why doesn't the king/queen/emperor/whatever just put a slave mark on everyone?
I mean they'd never have to worry about uprisings or rebellions and no one would ever question their orders,
and it can't be resources because most of the time putting slave magic on someone is as easy as getting a drop of blood and snapping your fingers,
plus sometimes slave magic allows the caster to completely control the persons mind as well as the body, rewriting memories, personality, ect,
there's literally no reason for a corrupt ruler not to do it,
even in this one if the king had just put a slave mark on everyone the rebellion the knight dude is planning wouldn't have happened.

"call the chief mage!" surprised there wasn't a punch line like, "you killed him already..."

With how slow this damn manga is going it needs to be published biweekly.

i think the novel has like over 100 chapters so surprised that they're also 'split' but at least slightly more pages than the Meikyuu/harem one lol

it doesnt look aggressive. just very curious. i hope it is a friend he will get soon. an awesome friend!

it can prolly sense his amount of mana so it should work out, if not all his other fluffy and bug guardians XD or recognize the other 'marshmallows'

huh, i forgot about them

wasn't it implied that it didn't work/they died and their 'power' they would've had transferred into him which is why he's even more OP than he normally would've been?

the beastkin were basically mindless husks before being freed so there'd still need to be someone manually in charge of taking care of them and all i think versus enslavement on the higher ups/needing their own free will or so (tho i think the only humans that have slave marks are prolly his wife/any relatives or so, so there's no attempt on his life for succession but i think it's mentioned before that he killed any male offspring)
