That lowers the structural integrity, though; potentially too much to be practical.

A better option is to just make it cone or pyramid shaped like their current lances: it widens the wound the further you penetrate (which can't be said of a needle/pipe thing), which also makes it more likely that, once detached, it will fall out on its own, leaving behind a gaping hole.

Additionally, it's easier to make a cone or pyramid than it is a pipe.

i suppose so, doesn't necessarily mean they'll listen when it's like "Dont' do that!" considering some of those were inner thought bubbles of his narration(?)

Tho surprised he wouldn't visit other towns or so even if he has merchants delivering stuff but i suppose eventually he'll expand/take over all of the Death Forest

if you make it hollow to siphon blood out you'll make it blunt on at least one angle to allow the hole to exist and you'll need a decently wide hole compared to the tip otherwise the blood will just end up clotting on the hole
