Honestly I enjoyed the other work of this author way more than this one. Both are pretty similar with survival theme, but the other one was way more well written and well paced, while this one feels all over the place. But somehow the TL for this one is way more active, sedge.

This shit is so ASS 😭. Why can't this author seem to decide between magical and technological? Not even a cool techno-magical theme, just an award "cars and drones..... but also dragons?". Not even try and make the key special like making it light up or draw a little magical circle, they could've used a hairpin for all we know.

And the villain dude got disposed like it was nothing .

Why??? Why don't they attack him? They have the advantage of numbers and first move advantage. As long as they restrained his weapon he would've been easy pickings. Even if the axe was too dangerous they still didn't do anything while he was wounded and disarmed, just like with the bike crash. Those were perfect opportunities to finish him off but nooo.
