Ginko is a woman who was so strong and skilled in combat that she couldn't find anyone to kill her in feudal Japan. She then goes to another world and is so strong there that even monsters who can take several trained soldiers on at once are nothing to her. The only reason we don't see those comments all over this stuff is because the people who make them don't actually enjoy media, just get wrapped up in drama about it. If this manga ever receives attention from outside of manga fans, the guys who get mad at women in action roles will show up and talk about how cringe it is that her sword can cut through golems.

Honestly, half of that discourse stems from the fact that the only media like 80% of people watch are stuff from a superhero cinematic universe, which isn’t exactly subtle with its writing.

The other half is that people will be perfectly fine with a badass woman if she is also physically attractive. It’s part of why people scoff when talking about Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, but they champion Eve from Stellar Blade who does basically the same things in a skin-tight bodysuit. It’s also why all the complaints about the “pseudo fmc westerners” they have boil down to “they look like a man” - they will gladly bow down to any woman so long as they exhibit the standards of femininity that society has drilled into them.

you really believe she is normal? her strenght and with her sword-skills she is more of a superhuman at this point, remember in reality you can’t cut like she does so ofc her strength is superhuman

considering hes raw adamantite, Obdurium is normally either super weak, or super brittle. Adamantite Golems likely invest alot of power in defense which the shapeshifter isnt aware of
Further, as i said last chapter, its less that Ginko is super human and more that Ginko is the only person able to actually fight at the level her opponents buff themselves to. There is an insurmountable gulf between physical enhancement, and the investment of Practice and Training. its why Gibriel can keep up with Ginko and basically no one else

I hope the witch gets what she deserves and dies without much fanfare, or she unleashes one last trick up her sleeve. I fear they’ll draw it out with a long backstory of some kind.

Ideally: heal and curse Gibriel. let us have Succu-Elf-Nun.
