Oh, the old guy has some sort of metamagical power? I'm curious as to what it is, because we haven't seen anyone able to dispel or counterspell things like that yet. We've seen magic, but we've never seen anyone use magic to go "nope" to other magic, like this guy did. He did say "god sealer," which is probably his power or whatever, but I wanna know more about what that means.

While on one hand I want to dismiss this, on the other you're not wrong. We see her have to jab into cracks this chapter, and while she's hilariously and inhumanly strong and skilled, "cutting through anything" has never been something she's been established as able to do. I'm betting it wasn't fully formed or something like that. While the drama is right and I didn't even really think about it when I read the chapter, it is new and we see evidence of her not being able to just slash through whatever she wants whenever she wants.
