Per the author's afterword:
I'm really grateful to the editors at Kodansha and good! Afternoon. I can't thank Tomari-sensei enough for drawing the characters so vividly with such beautiful illustrations!
The manga ended a little earlier than the novel version due to the number of volumes and other factors. The manga had its own ending, but I think it was a good ending in its own way. By the way, it wasn't canceled because it wasn't popular (lol). It was quite popular. It was well-received.
Now then.
Some of you who read the novel and manga may have thought, "They made a big deal out of it, but they haven't wrapped it up yet!" That's right, or rather, that was the plan from the beginning.
People who have been reading the novel version for a long time may know, but originally this story was positioned as a side story of "Ultimatum - Adventure Life Helpers Don't Level Up!?" (The main character is another godkin.)
There are other works such as "B.B. Game" and "Pinback" which are all connected. These works are known to me as the "Kukiden Kugamitsutae Series" and have a fairly long history. In other words, it wasn't originally a story that ended with just this one story.
