Copy paste villains. One is obsessed with the former hero and other is obsessed with making puppets. Can't find any other differences.

I don't get the point of betraying the friends... Like why? It was necessary? Plz someone explain to me.

Thanks for the chapter

@RigobertoParedes She was told by the enemies that if she attacked her friends they'd bring her to the MC. I get the feeling that both her and the main enemy are yandere when it comes to the MC. I can see them both fighting each other to prove who's more "yandere" than the other.

Hey man, the first option is a totally legit reason.....
Love can make people do crazy things.
And the best villains are the ones who believe they are the good guys after all.
as for the puppet thing, well we dont know why he is obsessed with puppets, given some extra character development to explain his motivation and its all good.
Also sociopaths are a thing.
besides, you gotta have some bad once to appreciate the really good once :>

@J363 But the guy who told her to do that wasn't he one of the five demon generals? Wasn't he a good guy? They were allies, that's what the girl who trained her said.

Well technically no one is the good guy here, both humans are demons are fighting a war over petty reasons.
Honestly at least the girl have a decent reason for doing what she does.
The MC on the other hand could arguably depending on how you look at it be considered a traitor.
But on the other hand he is he only one who realised that there are bigger fish to fry then fighting a petty race war.

@RigobertoParedes I'm not sure, I was confused about that as well. But I have a feeling that guy was one of the bad guys (so she found the wrong "generals"). Either that, or the demons see the MC as the only good human they can trust and the rest can go to hell. Let's see what will happen in the coming chapters. The bad guys might try and recruit her, and she may end up having to fight the MC. Either way, betraying her friends like that gives me an unpleasant feeling.

The demon general guy who told the girl to betray the humans was a member of the MC´s party in the past and is in love with the demon king/ queen.
So if he were to trust the MC´s schoolmate he would be all over it helping them meet up because it increases the chance the MC wont mary the demon king so he can do it instead, they are alot alike in that regard honestly.

it was mentioned somewhere in the first 4 chapters that the demons attacked the humans first because the humans unsummoned the hero after he saved the world.
basically the demons and beastmen attacked the humans out of revenge for effectively " killing" the hero who saved everyone.

witch they allegedly did out of fear as they were afraid he would take over the kingdom according to the MC, but we cant really be sure on that just yet.
The humans however are 100 % ok with this war as it gives them a chance to expand the borders and because this gives them an excuse to summon heroes again.
it dont take a genius to suspect that they might "remove" them aswell once they stop being useful. ( i mean they booted the MC out of the castle for being useless day 1 )

So really the humans are the "bad guys" even if they are the one fighting a defensive war.
The demons and beastmen on the other hand are fighting the war over somewhat legit reasons, but its still petty as fuck... not to mention impractical to start a war this soon.

I'm fine with the demon general's reasons to tell her to fight her comrades, and her willingness to do it, but "I won't tell you why I'm donig this unless you beat me" seems real goofy here. Why not just tell them the truth (she could omit Setsu's name and just talk about how the humans aren't great people who got rid of a hero + are trying to seize territory) and possibly get more allies if they're willing to listen?

@Salfaro haven't read this for a while but based on chapter 1(if you re-read it), from what I remember...
His current life name is Yuki and he wanted to escape from the palace by saying that he has no ability or cheat-skills whatsover(plotted of course) like to be exile...
and it'as been a while so... Thank you for this chapter!

@Goldenzeal I see, thanks for the explanation. I wasn't sure if that general was on the side of the MC or not. And I'm not surprised about humans starting another war again out of fear or conquest. And if they're going to unsummon anyone, it'd likely be the girl. Her powers are pretty wild for a human. And I believe she was already making a name for herself? So that admiration could turn into fear real quick.

This all feels like the author trying to make the manga longer by throwing random drama. This manga really was great during the beginning but this is getting annoying
