My money is on either her just going back with him and damn the consequences, or her nation sending her there as an ambassador and bride for Balud (both for political purposes as well as at her and Maria's urging). More than likely Balud's own king will get him engaged to his daughter Rachel, effectively turning Balud into the glue that holds together several nations (likely also including SIlk later on, since she is technically a princess of her mother's home country). Political machinations creating a marriage harem de go!

@nermie01 That's the thing I find funniest about all this harem commentary: throughout history, every harem I can think of has always been for political purposes, either by having representatives from multiple parties or as a demonstration of wealth and power. Sexual interaction has only ever been secondary.

@ninjadork While I can't disagree with you because I can't personally think of a counter example off the top of my head of known harems in history, I'm sure that while many (to high-ranking individuals) were political in nature, there were probably a few that were based in actual feelings. I know Hideyoshi Toyotomi and his wife Nene married for love (an oddity in the Warring States era), but she was infertile, so he had a rather sizable harem of concubines... but I dunno if any of those were love relationships as well.

It was critically important for Toyotomi to have an heir by blood for political reasons in order to maintain the stability of his new regime (IIR my history correctly), so despite his marriage by love having a harem with sexual relations was the best solution he could manage.
