Is his unique skill still following the mechanic that his exp gain is based on walk-distance? Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the first chapter/s I remember he leveled up from the distance he was carried out of the castle when he was rejected (he was shipped out via carriage).
I know his next-level requirements are now high, so it is understandable if he also no longer levels up as quickly as before even if he is riding a carriage/cart/horse.
