Wearing masks will prevent the disease. What a joke. Nothing less than a full on hazmat suit would be truly effective, and even then it's not 100% safe. And this chapter sure has a really bad timing, with what is going on around the world right now.

Someone kill the Knight. Damn it, mc only be at one place at a time. This isn't looking any good.

@darkrai69 Better something that Nothing. Tho some people will(irl also) think wearing a mask gives them invincibly or something so they could end up neglecting other precautions.

@RedRoyce halting the disease comes first, but I think its better to capture him. He can be a prove that some countries target your own.

Prediction: as Falma is mostly around the capital, it's possible the city is already protected against Black Death due to his passive powers as med god.

@dereth you need to get your stuck up head out of your arse.
If you were to check the original web novel or even the fan translation, you would notice that the story has been around for longer than corona.

Nowhere do they say that it prevents the disease, just like masks don't prevent corona.
They limit the spread of the disease, should it develop, since it spreads through contact with infected and is also airborne.

...Yeah no. This manga really hit this arc at the perfect time, didn't it?

The willful spreading of an infectious plague is a level of malicious and evil that I wouldn't have been able to appreciate a year ago.

Sure hope they capture those knights. They should really secure their lead.

Ah yes... I guess we're all back to read about our favorite fictional pandemic.
Remember: Fantasy worlds are places were we can see things never before seen.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha
Note the pain
