Probably, the manga diverged from here, in the WN Shiori got gangrap'd by the people who ran from Sumeragi's group and killed herself. Then the guys died trying to cross the sea with raft. Hokage and co found their remains later after finding Shiori's remain and buried her.

If you meant the SV, Sumeragi's group already did that, probably not on Shiori because she was originally from Byakuya's group.
In the WN, after finding Shiori's corpses, they also found out that Sumeragi groups including Sumeragi had all died which means Hokage groups were the only living humans in that island. The tension of the story got lifted from that point on and it's just slow life until they escaped the island.

I suppose it would be different in the manga and had Sumeragi face off against Hokage to give it a proper closure since let's be honest, the WN version was too anti-climatic.

Sorry to inform y'all, but I am sadly dropping the series.

I was working on the next chapter and tried to use MTL to finish it (since my translator quit), but the longer I got into finishing the chapter, the less sense the sentences made. I really wanted to at least finish the chapter before saying goodbye to the series, but I don't want to post some half-assed chapter what would leave a bad taste.

Sorry that it happened, but work IRL gives me not much of free time for these.

i dont think its fair to call this a cult. eri quickly realized they were in big trouble if they dont have a man around to protect them, so she does what any girl would do, give sexual favors in exchange for protection. she even said that if hes too horny theres not alot anyone can do, and to take out his frustration on her. so not only was she protecting the other girls (she doesnt know him well and he could be violent or rape them) she was establishing them to be able to survive in this crazy situation. now did the girls eventually fall in love with him? yes, obviously, because being with such a manly man would get any girls crotch twitching. especially when they found out how horrible they are treating the other students who got zapped there with them.
on that note, the release schedule for this manga is insane. like 5 chapters a year. its so hard to wait for new chapters because i really like this one. all the girls are 10/10 waifu material, and the mystery of where they are is really fascinating.
