Its like that one manga where MC has a Harem in the novel and in the manga MC has the same Harem but for some reason the mangaka decided to give away the milf harem member to a completely new character that didn't exist in the novel.Like please just stick to the original source and don't try to make it better.... more often than not they make it worse...rant over lol

If you must know, the novel is kind of shorter (since all of the current events don't really happen). They skip a lot, he has sex a lot. You know how he agreed to have babies with "Smart Girl?" Yeah, he keeps having unprotected sex with smart girl at least once a week. They prepare for the coming of winter, while slowly but surely working on the ship. There are no named characters other than the two brothers in the other group in the novel. Also, the other group doesn't break into factions, they are all killed by the winter weather off screen, and they never pose any kind of threat. I'm guessing the editors didn't like the mass fatalities, and is going for a more hopeful conclusion this time around? Maybe, keep most of "the other" group alive, so that there are more than just a dozen survivors? Further unrelated spoilers ahead:.....When they finally get rescued, they find out the girl he'd been trying to impregnated actually got pregnant. He marries her, but she feels guilty that she kind of monopolized him, so she allows the survivor girls to have sex with him (with protection). The only one she allows to have children with him is rich girl, because she was going to lose her freedom due to an arranged marriage, so in order to avoid that, they decided that her getting impregnated by MC would be the perfect way to avoid that without her father being able to do anything about it (even though she actually got the okay from her dad to cancel the engagement in the end, she and MC still have baby making sex at least once a month (or something like that, don't remember the details). Pony Tail girl, the only girl who didn't lose her virginity to him during their island stay, actually loses her virginity to him during the epilogue, where they go to an "adventure island retreat" with other people, and they are both disappointed by how much of it is "easy mode survival" lol. What else...what else?...Oh yeah, swimming club dude survived. Thanks to him, they had ships patrolling the area around the island, and because of that they were able to get rescued.

Honestly, from what I've seen from the raws for the manga, I'd say they're doing a slightly better job with the story here. The next arc looks like is going to be the last one (not really sure if this is the case, the arc is not over and I don't speak or read Japanese).

I like that the other group is an actual threat, and they have some agency in the story. It feels very Lord of the Flies with the whole school kids killing school kids with spears and arrows. There are a lot more named characters in the other group in the manga, including "slut girl", Bad Guy's fiancee, and Bad Guy's right hand man. The bad guy group seems to have annihilated the remnants of the younger bad guy's group, and now they are trying to wage war on our hero's group. There are also a bunch of little side stories as well, like the up and coming "Chase the Tail" game that will start in one or two chapters from now.

My guess is that in the original novel Hokage had sex with her, and she wasn't knocked out by the other girl, but instead, Hokage had so much sex experience by this point in the story that he knocked or out (up?) through sex alone. And that is why the girls were annoyed, because he actively participated in it (and maybe they got a bit jealous).

One thing I'd like to point out is that many people here are talking about the web novel, and likely not the actual published light novel. (I say "likely" because I haven't found or read an officially published light novel for this series, just the web novel, which does indeed have a lot of sex and no interaction between Hokage's team and any other team, unless they're coming across dead bodies.) A lot of this material could have been added to the light novel at the suggestion of an editor, though that could also be the case for the transition to the manga version as well. There are quite a few series that have both a web novel version and a light novel version, in addition to a manga and/or anime adaptation, and some of these can vary quite a bit from one medium to another.
